Smith way off the pace once again!

Sat Aug 10, 2013 7:02 pm

How is he getting in over Nooney and Conway?
Gives us absolutely nothing on the wing and since his return from injury in January he looks so laboured.

We are in with the big boys now and Malky seriously can't start him at West Ham surely?!

Time to ship him out but it seems Malky thinks otherwise unfortunately.

He will be gone by the end of the transfer window, honestly would be suprised if he isnt

Why did he start today if he's not in mm's plans? I'd ship him out personally

Good squad player, versatile, works hard, decent quality. May as well keep him for this year, you never know when an injury crisis will strike.

Im guessing he's still around for the experience and calm head. I agree I would let him go but theres got to be someone to take him aswell

I'm guessing you're seeing something in noone that I'm missing? Noone is way off PL class

What has Smith done in last six months to suggest he is?

Not one telling contribution in either home friendly, he brings nothing to the team.

And so far bellamy is just as bad :ayatollah:

Smith is one of those players who will get you out of the Championship. He still has class but not Premiership class. If I were a manager of a Championship club and could afford his wages I'd make a serious enquiry.

So who has played well then? We were well outplayed in the 1st half today and doubt we have anything better at the moment

Caulker, John, Kim & turner (apart from turners passing) I thought done well today

Wouldn't disagree especially Caulker who was very impressive.

He's calm, versatile and has Premier League experience. He may be off the boil slightly, but always works his socks off.

Useful squad player, but then the same will be said for Noone and Conway once Malky signs a new right winger.
