A fast direct winger should set the pulses racing should Malky bring in a winger next

The most entertaining Cardiff City player I have ever seen.

Nobody may believe this but my mate works down the club and had to give an agent a lift back to the train station after the game today.
The agent revealed himself and Malky were both at Old Trafford and were there to bring medel home with them, the driver (apparently a friend of Malky) instead of turning up in a 6 seated merc (not including the driver) ... (there were 6 people all together again not including the driver) he turned up in a 9 seated minibus ! How professional did that look bringing him home from Manchester to Cardiff on the mini-bus, it also apparently took the driver 1 hour and 45 minutes to get out of Manchester as he hadn't updated his Tom Tom in 7 years. (Or Tim Tim as the agent called it) Apparently they didn't get back until 4.30am which obviously wouldn't have made a good first impression.
He also said most of the work he does is for Spurs, yet he was furious with his boss as they didn't get a penny for the Caulker deal, apparently Cardiff inquired about Caulker and were told he was not available, when we then failed with the Tom Ince bid Daniel Levy apparently phone Malky himself and asked if he still had that 8 million to spend that he was planning on spending on Ince, Malky said yes cutting out the middle man, Levy saved on agencies fees but apparently we have done him a bit as he didn't realise we had a lot more money to spend so could have asked us for more.
Also the last thing the agent said was about Montero, he said 'I'm off on holidays to America for 2 weeks tomorrow with the wife and kids but no doubt I will still be working, I have a few deals on and one of them is for you guys, that Ecuadorian lad Montero. He said they hadn't realised Ecuador were now 17th in the fifa ranking (he may have been wrong about this) and that his value was more than cardiff anticipated as they thought they could get him for 3 million but would now be raising the offer.
You can call me a billy bullshitter and that I'm making this up, but I'm sure Carl will tell you I'm very close to the truth if not spot on.

Nah, tell you what - let's have Josh Low back...
A speedy winger would complete the picture indeed...

I heard when they stopped for petrol they were all arguing who was having the tesco club card points

It's the little things that help in these sort of deals. Getting our first Spanish speaking player in could help greatly with any deals for Montero or Cardoza.

Apparently Metel speaks 0.0% English, he grew up in the slums in Spain apparently so he doesn't even know any basic English !

All he needs is the universal language of football and some Spanish speaking mates.

Thought he was from Chile?
Sun Aug 11, 2013 8:29 am
Kimbo could teach him
Sun Aug 11, 2013 8:52 am
Sorry Chile slums before moving onto Spain. What the agent said is he won't wow you but people that understand the game will see how much more possession Cardiff have because of him, he reads the game, breaks up tackles, good on the ball too and can also slot into centre back. Every Premier League team needs one of these players, there is a reason people like Robbie Savage played in the premier league for so long as teams need ball winners. Obviously for the money we paid his all round game will be better than savage and he can mild into a Roy Keane type player. Time will tell but it looks like we have a real gem here.
