Campbell had a good game today and put in a good shift however I thought Caulker was outstanding. Won everything in the air and played the ball well on the ground. Looked solid with Turner.

Had a superb game against decent strikers too. Also thought Gunnar played really well.

Spot on, campbell looked lively fast and sharp, deserves to be first 11 on todays form... Caulker total class so confident and in control of everything that came his way, my new favourite player, makes the rest of defence look crap. Also good to see whitts and kim can play together well in the 2 pre seasons ive seen

Caulker showed his class and showed what spending 8.5 million gets you pure class and a few steps up from what we have SO if that's the case can't wait to see what Cornelius has to offer and the Pitbull so happy I could burst at the moment!!!

Caulker was top notch yesterday.
Can't say I was impressed with the amount of times Ben Turner hoofed the ball up the pitch, though.

Agree. It was needless too. Could have played it out to John etc, but no he just lumped it up there.

Its been a good few years since ive seen a city centre half with as much confidence as caulker. He took a run down the wing at one point..
Reminds me of gary bennett in 82/83.
