Trying to think where that is. is that the pub on newport road opposite the eastern leisure center playing fields? Or is it the one down the bottom of wentlog road?

No mate, down Wentloog Road where the old County cinema used to be.
About half a mile or so down on the right hand side.

I will be there tonight,great pub over the years.they are not showing city games though as its illegal due to borleys connections to city.can watch them on sky down there tho-expensive as f**k in there,£3.60 for a pint of carling!!!!!!!!!!

Got out of my skull at 16 years old in the Romney Castle in the mid 70's drinking brains.

Walked /staggered back up the hill to catch the last Llanrumney bus back home - fell asleep and ended up back at Cardiff bus station.

Had to pay for a taxi back to Llanrumney - puked all over my bedroom !!!

Certainly a lesson learn't !!!

I remember when there were three bars there, the main bar, smoke room and a snug.
Also, before the snug was a snug., it was an off-licence.

So there not showing every city game? I was told they were and was also told that they are organising a shuttle bus from the rompney to the stadium at home games? Would be ideal for me as my mother lives around the corner in brachdy
