Gunnarson has injured his shoulder and will not be doing his long throws this season.

Shame. Big factor in his game, we've scored a few times/got corners out of them. Will have to rely on Tayls for long throws now

Thats a shame. They caused mayhem last year. And this year with Cornelius in the team they would have been useful.

He injured his shoulder in June playing for Iceland and is still following his recovery program, what he said in his interview was he wasn't yet ready to put "Full Power" into his long throw.


Nothing about that being for the whole season in what I heard.

I agree but the odd 1 or 2 to unsettle teams is the way to do it not every bloody throw.

We got the equaliser in the Carling Cup final because of his long throws.

Rudy's nodded a couple in and I think cCmpbell somehow managed it aswell.

We didn't get many goals from his throwins anyhow, however, with our beefed up team it would have been agood option to have this season.

We should'nt be picking him just because he has a long throw. Next we will picking players just co they take good free kicks ..... Oh sorry we've already done that too!!
