In Malky we Trust....

But if he doesn't get what he wants, we will be in trouble.
I'm a big fan of Malky and in glad to see he isn't panic buying. That being said will his high standards ultimately be his undoing?

He has always said "I will not buy for the sake of buying" but with this squad as it stands being short in several areas, will he be given the time to set things right?

Or will Tan Follow suit of other rich owners and ditch the gaffer if all is not gong well?

BEFORE ANYONE ATTACKS,IM JUST ASKING QUESTIONS.

It comes a point if he can't get the results then he is to go maybe.

But judging interviews, they have a really good relationship and stay in contact. I reckon VT will stick with him.

Even if we do get relegated in our first season, then I'd much rather us do it with malky as our manager... He will pretty much guarantee us a quick return to the premier league

Would of been nice to have all our dealings done and dusted, but this is the real world. Malky will keep going untill window closes. In Malky we trust.

Malky has a great future but you only have to look at the restructuring of the board to realise if Tan is not happy he changes things quickly....

Good Luck Malky :malky:

I'll copy Hammers to stay up! Cardiff boss wants to emulate West Ham and Saints

Malky Mackay will take inspiration from West Ham and Southampton to keep newcomers Cardiff in the Premier League for more than just one season.
They are back in the top flight for the first time in 51 years and go to West Ham next Saturday.
The Hammers and Saints both managed to stay up after gaining promotion and Mackay believes Cardiff can do the same, especially after signing Steven Caulker from Spurs for £8million.

Mackay would love to emulate Swansea and naturally the most eagerly awaited fixture is the first ever Premier League Welsh derby.
‘They will be two fabulous encounters but you can’t really compare us because they are in their third season in the Premier League.’
Mackay is hopeful supporters at each club will behave themselves on both occasions. ‘We’ve won family club of the year twice since I’ve been here, which is a great accolade.’

TBH I'm more worried about Malky being chased by another club than him being relieved of services to us

If we go down, I want it to be with Malky in charge, because he will learn and take us back up (depending on if things behind the scenes with Tan stay as rosey as they are now)

Cardiff boss Malky Mackay: "We fully understand how different this season is going to be. It's something I'm going to be very open with the fans [about] in terms of the backing they are going to have to give us at certain times of the season.
"It is going to be difficult. This season we're going to be playing against some real top teams and it's something that we've got to look at over the whole season."
