cant you permanently ban people through there ip address ?

unfortunately you cant stop them from re-registering an account

if the account ip is not blocked simple new account is made

block the account and you could go through hidemyip or tether through a mobile which changes your ip each and everytime you log on

its simple to split the members into groups pretty much like they are now, ie- members, mods, admin

you could create a group for a holding area for new members... say with 3 sections in ? something to keep them active and not get too bored

simply done by allowing the said group to only be able to see those sections... just like admin/mod section are hidden now

say for example after a short wait and set amount of post count in the small section and your let in

and not a set amount of posts that can be created in one day... knock up the right amount spamming in one day and boom your gone again

its an age old problem but there are ways to prevent it, just a little thought, time and effort

I just stick to this one account now and barely post as no Internet in house until Monday as moved in last week so on 3G and it takes forever to post.

Check my post history, I'm Cardiff & only balancing the hatred for roathie because i believe he has quite a debilitating psychological condition. While he appears above average intelligence, people like him endure long spells of lonelyness due to an inability to 'play nice' and form deep reciprocal relationships, despite yearning it very much. For this reason I did argue for an amnesty and he got one due to a begging letter campaign, then immediately f*cked it up by trying to lord it over citygent and others.

Yes we can Wez, but last time we did that similar ips of good posters got banned.
