Not disputing that Paul, and yes he is a great player but not one of the best in the league.
In a league that has midfielders like; Kedhira,Alonso,Cesc,Xavi,Iniesta,Ozil,Busquets and Modric (that's just 2 clubs ) you cannot state he is one of the best....

He's definately one of the best defensive midfielders in la liga without a doubt .
And the rumours are strong about him not just from twitter, I can see this one being the next transfer saga we are involved in .

I know hes good, but it seems the minute a player becomes linked to us he is suddenly "most sought after" or "one of the best".

If we managed to get Medel, I think he would spend a fair bit of time on suspensions, but his style of play would endear himself to any club he played for in the UK.
