Defensive/Holding midfielders

With Malky looking for a defensive midfielders here's a few to ponder, any one of them would be worthy of a bid.

Ignacio Camacho - Malaga - £4 to £5 million (he would be my personal choice)

Sebastian Rode - Eintracht Frankfurt - £8 million

Fernando - Porto - £15 million (will Malky push the boat out)

Gary Medel - Sevilla - £6 million (Malky rumoured to have targeted him)

Victor Perez - Valladolid - £2 Million

Mario Suarez (Atletico Madrid) - £9 million

Or..... Liam Bridcutt (3-4m)

Some decent options in there, I hope Malky is looking to bring in players like this

Well if I can find 6 defensive midfielders worth looking at then I'm sure Malky and his backroom staff will have identified these and more. So calm down lads we will get quality in.

Oh by the way I wouldn't mind Markel Susaeta (right wing/right midfield) - Atletic Bilbao - £8 million

Geoffrey Kondogbia from Sevilla, would be an incredible signing and probably the best player we would have ever signed. I think we could get him for around £4m-£6m. Check him out, he has a fabulous career agead of him and i hope to god that it is with us.

Kondogbia is probably the best young holding midfielder out there and has a massive future ahead of him. I would say his signature is beyond us as the likes of Real Madrid, Milan, Monaco, even man City will be looking at him i'm sure. His current valuation is £13 million but once the big clubs get in a bidding war over this lad he will top £20 million for sure - so sadly out of our range I would say.

No but I wouldn't mind compiling his dossier, I think I could make a good fist of it, I love my footy research. Love European and South American football, lots of talent out there that would bite our hands off to come here I'm sure.

There are quite a few good DM's that Malky could look at and no doubt he has. Problem is trying to get a world class player to come and join us. We are a new Premier League team and as such we are not yet that attractive to the top players. We would have to be really really lucky to get someone like Maxime Gonalons or Geoffrey Kondogbia.

One player Man City had there eye on recently was Blaise Matuidi and as yet they have not made a move for him. Also Morgan Schneiderlin, who was immense for Southampton last season, would be someone I'd definitely have a look at.

Spain is defo the place to be looking at the moment they are world champions and la Liga is choc full of quality players that would get into most international sides. If I was shopping that's the place I would looking.

We need a bit of experience in the middle of the park in my opinion .... and there's nobody better to fill that role than Scott Parker. A snip at £2m!

we could do with some prem experience for sure, parker isnt a bad call.

I'd be happy with Parker but everything I have read suggest he wants to stay in London. QPR just had a bid turned down so no guarantee Spurs will sell but if they do he'll probably end up somewhere like Crystal Palace, QPR or maybe even back to West Ham.

Agree with this. I think this boy will keep improving! I think his Throw ins will be a special weapon for us... a lot of assist for Cornelius!

I was brought up on hard and dogged British midfielders in the 70's and 80's.

No British players around
I was brought up on dogged hard midfield players in the 70's and 80's. None of those were foreign, more likely to be Scottish or Irish.

Sadly, none good enough to keep us from the bottom of the Premier league
