If a striker was our priority then I would agree that a cheeky bid would be worth it but we have enough strikers at the moment so if this is going to take any of the money pot from buying positions that we are more in need of then I would say let's not bother.
We need a left back, winger, defensive midfielder and possibly another Defender to join Caulker in the heart of our defence before we consider a striker.

I saw 3 mil being mentioned, there's not many still around at that price for his experience and would score goals in any team, would link up with Cornelius nicely I think little and large

defoe don,t like not playing.one of those lads who want a game.proved that moving to pompey.also flew back from an tourament for his dads funeral then flew back to play for england.good attitude.seriously ,i think a bid is in order
