Names on shirts

Not sure if this has been mentioned before and it’s not really important but I have noticed that now we have the Premier League branded shirts font and logo etc, on the publicity shots and replica shirts our player names are in a straight line on the back of the shirt not curved. I noticed last season that Man City were the only team in the PL to do this with player names so was wondering if anybody else has noticed or indeed even cares. Personally the shirts look better with the name curved not straight. In the championship there is a mix of curved and straight names so I guess there is no rule, ok I am boring myself now.
