Who cares? I don't think it damages our image at all that Ince decided to turn us down, and we don't even know the full story with Capoue. Be honest, if you were a footballer, and City came in for you, then spurs appeared, you'de choose the yids.

My oppinion is:
Malky has wasted no time at all and has / is still tracking other targets while openly attempting to sign the above mentioned.
The targets above are still possibilities until the deadline closes.
If Malky doesn't attempt to sign his 1st choice targets then he will never know if they want to come here.
Malky wants quality and his 1st choices but has proved he is prepared to move on if they are not available to him.
I find it hard to believe that he has had and still has doubters.
Malky has done a fantastic job bringing in the right kind of player for Cardiff City.

Capoue to Spurs... Another 1 bites the dust by the look of it. Great that we're going for quality players but starting to panic now that we've only signed 4 with 9 days until 1st game and 3 weeks until transfer window closes. Are we aiming too high? You have to be in it to win it and all that but we do need 3-4 or even more to keep us in the Prem. Not knocking Malky because he's doing his bit and top players just dont want to come here

Trust me, come the end of August we will be happy with what we've ended up with. Some transfers go to the wire, it's not about what suits us, it's about what suits the player and the selling club. Sometimes they won't release a player until they find a replacement and sometimes the players evaluate their options.

I dont believe for 1min that Malky has just been sitting around waiting for them,while he may be waiting to see what they want to do ,he and his guys are still looking and working to bring players in .

I can't remember many players turning clubs down once a fees agreed etc

Sorry gents but just because I have a Malky avatar it's doesn't make him and his team beyond criticism .

we have been going for really quality targets this summer. We could have done a Hull, or a Palace and signed 7 or 8 players from the championship, but im happy we are aiming high.

But because of this, the players will think they are better than us, and when another team like spurs comes in for someone we are bidding on, we cant really compete.

Sone people are to thick to realise that some of these players malky is going for are to good for us and some will turn is down. There is still no harm in trying for these players.
