I'm ambulant disabled myself mona had also told me that West Ham only sent 12 carers tickets which got sold straight away my tickets were booked in block booking with my usual coach travel but there were no carers left, me and my carer left with no choice than to pay full price which has been really awkward for obvious reasons... There for being West Hams fault and not our club David Sullivans a c**t FULL STOP

I rang Fulham fc and spoke to their ticket office who CONFIRMED my thoughts?? Ambient disabled Tickets come out of normal ticket allocation?? It's a case of who you believe then? Using the balance of probabilities test I would tend to believe our TO. The reason for that is there is no gain to CCFC from limiting the number of carer free tickets.

However, there is a gain to Fulham FC. As the home side they keep all the gate money. Of course this isn't scientific thinking but the alternatives are our TO or member of staff at the TO are pocketing the money. That seems unlikely but I can't think why else our TO would want to do this?

I would have thought that as our football club have nothing to gain by overcharging you, as all monies for away tickets go to the away club,why do I think that you may be knocking the football again because of your stance on certain issues.

It's ambulant disabled Gwyn which I believe means the person is not wheelchair bound and can therefore take a place in a normal sitting area within a sports ground. However the person may still require a carer for a number of reasons so maybe this is something that could be discussed in the Travel Club meetings.

I'm sure the club would not deliberately act against any disabled fan so dialogue is needed here.

You reckon they are classed as ambient?????? do you know what ambient means, coz it got nothing to do with disability for f**k sake.

We went through all this quite a few years back, because of discrimination you can't be seen to say one disability is worse or requires more consideration than others.

Very grey are, you can have a disability and it does not affect you going to the game, why should a blind person be classed as disabled for football purposes yet a deaf person isn't. Why is a person with a missing toes viewed as better off than a person with a missing foot, why does a person missing a lower arm deserve better treatment than someone with an arthritic un usable elbow.

Who decides and who the draws the line, obviously no ambulant people who need to use a wheelchair require a helper, now I believ our club get around this problem by allowing the helper in for free, but charging the disabled person.

Having a partner with ms her mobility is impaired, when enquired with club about place in disabled section I was told need medical evidence if need carer as obviously open to abuse Anyone can roll up in wheel chair! so need proof. It doesn't matter on what type of disability as long as medical evidence is gained to say need carer club will accept this and only one person pays entry. This was last season so maybe change this? A disability is all encompassing its the persons needs that are taken into consideration whatever it is.

Carer in 99% of cases go free no matter where you go, but you always pay for one person have been doing it for 4yrs now being a carer. They Are exceptions but rare

to get a free carer you need to show your high rate dla letter to the ticket office
