Capoue/huddleston

With Capoue going to Spurs, do you think huddleston could now be coming to Cardiff? He is a more realistic choice than Capoue as Capoue is a top 6 player

The French media have more than likely picked the rumour up from Twitter. How reliable are the French media exactly? It is just pure speculation as of now

French media also said that we had agreed a terms with Gomis and had a bid accepted for Kalou. Don't believe everything you read. :laughing5:

Crollocks - although I admire MM's ambition, this is another case of chasing players beyond our reach. Some say so what, move on, but how much time has been wasted chasing a target that never wanted to join us. Whilst we focus on players like Capoue there's plenty of more realistic targets that escape through the net to lower level clubs.

That could have happened for all we know. There is nothing about them actually JOINING us just that the preliminary procedures had been completed.

Lyons chariman openly stated to the press that Gomis rejected us and Swansea. French media said we'd agreed terms.

I'd take Huddlestone, I think when we're in possession he would be an absolute dream , when we move the ball quick we've got players that can open teams up, I think with Huddlestone's vision and passing range he would put us on the front foot and find the likes of Whitts and Kimbo in little holes. The only thing is I've never really had him down as a player that breaks up play or someone that loves a tackle, which is something I think Malky is looking, for example Wanyama and Capoue. I could be completely wrong and he could be a brick wall but he's never really struck me as that sort of player.
