I agree they need a player who's going to play for the fans and not the paycheck unlike Remy etc, the have a squad like us in the 10/11 season, a squad of individuals not a team

Best player I'd seen in a city shirt when he was on loan with us. Really thought he'd have become an England regular.

Guess some things just ain't meant to be.

Gary O’Neil has told talkSPORT that winning promotion to the Premier League with Queens Park Rangers would beat finishing mid-table in the top flight with former club West Ham United.
The ex-Portsmouth and Middlesbrough man has joined the Super Hoops on a one-year deal despite being offered a new contract at Upton Park.
But he has chosen to move across London and down into the Championship instead of staying with Sam Allardyce’s side.
It’s a perfect move for me.

And he reckons he won’t regret it if they manage to bounce back into the top tier of English football.
O’Neil told The Sports Bar: “I think we’ve got a really good chance of getting promoted and that will be a really good and successful season.
“I know it’s a season out of the Premier League but when you achieve something and you win [promotion] it’s sometimes better than that mid-table finish in the Premier League.
“It’s something that I really fancied. There were a couple of other options but this one just took my fancy and it’s still in London so I haven’t got to uproot. It’s a perfect move for me.”
And O’Neil admitted that joining up with his former gaffer at Portsmouth, Harry Redknapp was another reason behind moving across London.
“Yeah,” he added. “Joining up again with Harry Redknapp was a factor and just the overall package at QPR.”
