Agree with Carl that the comments about Mbia are concerning by do you think Malkay can get more out of him than Rednapp achieved?

DWQPR wrote:Haven't posted on here for nearly a year and frankly after travelling round the country watching the heap of shite that Mark Hughesless piled us with last season, missing one game, to be honest I almost gave up on football in its entirety. So it thought I would give you the heads up on what to expect from the 'greatest league in the world', if you yourselves have not yet been disenfranchised by your own commercial re-branding. Firstly the most important thing in football now is not winning it is money. The money you make the more it seems that your club is a success, doesn't matter where you end up. No doubt the cost of watching Cardiff has increased. For those of you who travel to away games be prepared to be fleeced at some amazing prices. highest last year was Chel*** away at £52. Average cost must have been about £42-43 which included Wigan at £20, who you won't play because they have also managed to escape. Matchday scarves are a must. I bet you cannot wait to buy your Cardiff/Swansea red and white Matchday scarf! What the f..........? Tourists everywhere. You go to Old Trafford and you fight your way through 30,000 Japanese taking photos of every bloody thing going. 'Cardiff' supporters who suddenly want tickets because ManUre are in town. being gobbed on by chavvy Scousers sitting in the tier above you. Going to places like the Emirates or Stamford Bridge and watching the home supporters sit quietly and applaud the grass growing. Watching your team get mullered more often than not.
Yes some away games are decent. Everton. Great old ground and decent supporters. Spuds, again great old ground and decent support. West Brom, if you find the pub called the Vine, you are in for a treat. Sunderland, shit ground, you are halfway to the gods, but a superb, buffet Chinese in the middle of the town. At Newcastle, take oxygen masks, a Sherpa and your telescope. And if it is in the middle of winter, your duvet. Mercenary footballers, we cornered the market in them last season, none more so than Jose Bosingwa. You will get the odd one.
And before you accuse me of being bitter, those who remember my old posts will know that I am balanced in my views and I knew that watching PL football was not going to be as much fun as watching the Championship. Indeed when we got promoted I said I would never gloat as the following season it was just as likely that we would be swapping places with you guys. Almost right, just a season out. Try to enjoy it and don't take it seriously. It is never going to be a sporting competition, Cardiff with a host of other clubs will become cannon fodder for the top five. It really is a shame. At the start of last season people would ask me how I hoped QPR would do. My answer as with the previous season, was that I didn't give a monkeys as long as we beat Chel***. We did it twice so I was happy![]()
Now finally, Stephane M'bia. Now I like Malky Mackay, good manager and seemed to have a good eye for a player. M'bia? What the hell is he thinking of? I reckon our Tony has had a bit of fun with Vincent. The bloke was a total liability last season, slow, play-acting, always getting booked, poor judge of challenges, blood rushing to head. Barmy, mad, stupid, sulks. All the worst attributes in a footballer. At the end of games he always gave his shirt away to a young supporter even if it meant climbing into the stand and going halfway up it! At Swansea last season the plank even managed to go into the wrong stand and gave it to a young Jack! Never seen such a confused look on a kids face in my lifeif Malky wants him, then he is welcome. We are glad to get rid. Anyway all the best for the new season, come what may.

Our owners have the best hearts in the world but were v v naive & will have learned a hell of a lot.
I'm genuinely happy you lads have gone up, you've been knocking on that door for years & you'll finally get to experience the big time & I'm delighted for you. As DW said many things to not look forward to but I'll tell you one other small thing he didn't mention that I always enjoyed was the massive step up in exposure you will receive. Things like Sky's football first with 75 minutes of all your games every week & the pages after pages in the rags will keep you busy.
Mbia. I'm gonna be frank & honest. In his defence he is meant to be better at CB but we bought him as a CM which is the position I think you've earmarked him for. Right. Basically falls over a lot, gives loads of free kicks away, never see him for a strong lad boss games, never saw him win his individual battle against his opposite number, saw him play ONE decisive through ball for Remy leading to a goal. That was the only assist, doesn't score & rarely heads the ball. He is a unit & really tries hard but for me he's a very ineffective player. I would take CM's like Snodgrass & Bradley Johnson over him all day long, bread & butter players who play to their strengths. I saw every single game Mbia played for us in a QPR shirt & I was probably pleased with him 2 maybe 3 times. I am delighted we are getting him off the wage bill & to get a significant fee for a player in his last year of contract is top business.
Good luck this year, aim for 17th & make that your target.

The fella that said Malky will get him to rediscover his form you could well be right mate what you said about the negativity & it rubbing off on others is 100% right but I will say negativity doesn't make you fall over & all the other bad things Mbia does. His attitude is top class if I'm honest can't fault that at all. He may turn out to be a good signing for you.
Who in your squad are you expecting the most from? Is Bells fit and raring to go?

Cheers Griff, was nice to see the team winning again on Saturday, not a great performance but the tea just needed to know what a win felt like and still needs to adapt to the more direct and in Sheff. Weds case, some of the more brutal tackling that goes on. Hopefully Cardiff can at least do a Norwich, you ain't going to do a Swansea that is for sure. But my message is, just don't take it seriously. I wasn't expecting anything when we went up, I knew that the PL was all about money and the top five, but even this low expectation was undershot massively.
