I started taking my daughter when she was a toddler, about 18 months, but they were reserve games, her first full game was when she was four, hated the noise but loved the food. She was given the option to opt out when she started school but still wanted to go and has been a season ticket holder since seven.

She's now 15 and has been to Wembley 4 times, the Millennium Stadium once and seen 3 promotions. Basically the same as me but it took me 35 years longer to get that sort of success.

I need to see how she reacts to failure. :laughing6:

I wouldn't take a kid away until they were about 10. Younger kids on a long coach journey could be a nightmare too

My boy were around four or five years old. They didn't go all the time, but there was more scope for them to "run around" at Ninian Park when they got a bit older.

I said that I would never take my daughter to an away game as you're all animals. :D However she has no told me she wants to go. Is fifteen old enough to hear what goes on away?

My older son i started taking when he was about 7 but he never got that into it so i stopped taking him. My youngest i started taking when he was 2 because he didnt like being left out when the older one went, and he loved it and ive been taking him ever since, hes 8 now, knows everything about city and was on the pitch at charlton sayin it was the best night of his life. Think it depends on the kid
