Never heard one story of him being a troublemaker myself

Had a mare on and off the pitch last season but that doesn't make you a bad player. Had a great couple of years for marseille who bought him for 10 million off Rennes. If we can get 100% on and off the pitch from him then is say its a very clever signing. He can also play centre back. Playing for us and for qpr would be conpletley different in my opinion.

obviously a specific position Malky has prioritsed! not having much luck bringing these players in as yet though. heres hoping.

Could be a very clever signing and in effect killing two birds with one stone in respect of having a central midfielder or a central defender all in one.

Was just asking the question as Redkanpp was saying he wants to get rid of 4 or so players who are having a negative effect on the squad & hence being disruptive. Not sure if Mbia is classed as one of them.

Regarding the trouble making he tweeted Joey Barton asking if he wanted to swap places back at Marseille. Don't think he did anything else wrong. Could mean he didn't have the fight for a relegation dogfight or could just be down to what a shambles QPR were last season. Personally I would be pleased if we signed him especially for just around 4 million. QPR must have paid a hell of a lot more last season.

I'd have him here. He's the kind of player we need IMO.

No Mbia isn't a troublemaker he just doesn't want to play in the Championship, i would be a decent signing this, him and a winger and some people have said another forward because of what has happened to our forwards in the past week

What he said to Barton on Twitter was probably no worse than Jon Parkin asking if anybody wanted a gardener while (not) playing for us a couple of years back...

I think DJ bought him in the belief that Bothroyd was on his way out at the end of the season. He was of course - just so happens DJ followed him out!

Will be very disappointed with this signing.
