He has us down to be relegated:

The new Premier League season is just a couple of weeks away so skysports.com caught up with the Soccer Saturday pundits to get their predictions for the new campaign.

Matt Le Tissier will once again be joining Jeff Stelling and the boys every Saturday afternoon on Sky Sports News to bring you live updates from the big games - and the former Southampton ace kicks-off our series...

Who will get relegated?

The promoted sides from the Championship: Cardiff, Hull and Crystal Palace. It's a big gap between the two divisions. Plus, I was looking at the stats and neither Cardiff nor Hull had a single player score double figures in the league last season - and that is not going to keep you in the Premier League. I know Cardiff have brought in one centre-forward, Andreas Cornelius, but certainly the players Hull have brought in are not prolific goal scorers so I've gone for them to go down.

Without his complement he is always fair and always gives teams who come up benefit of the doubt.

Remember having them in the League Cup home and away and he ripped us a new botty ??? He was immense. How he never played more for England is criminal.
One of the best English players in the past 20 years.

But he's not English, he's a Guern (Guernsey). Was just eligible for England, as he was for the other home nations.

I know what you mean mate, but he was english qualified, he is actually a really good bloke, I worked in southampton in the 90's and met him a few times, when he was away from the corporate stuff he had to do, he was a genuine fella that knew what people thought of him but, when I saw him, never gave it the big one. I've stories about how good he was to the fans, but won't bore you.

I'd be interested in hearing some mate, the guy is a footballing legend, and seems a genuine down to earth bloke.

Interesting fact that Spanish supremo Xavi rates Matt Le Tissier as his favourite player of alltime !!
