I was reading yesterday that Green has told McCoist to win a cup this season or there will be problems? Absolute shambles after McCoist has stuck with them through all the crap these past couple of years.

Not a fan of either of the Old Firm clubs, but if there is any truth to that and McCoist walks, who would blame him?

I'm amazed that the Rangers fans have stayed relatively calm over the past few seasons, this could be the last straw for many of them and if that lot mobilize, there could be carnage.

I think they should concentrate on getting there spl status back first . I thought Charles green was hated at ibrox along with that whyte guy .

I have no idea what he is doing back there? As for winning a cup, you are spot on, but I think this Charles Green character is about to stretch the fans patience too far, they aren't a mob that need much more pushing and I wouldn't want to have that lot on my case.

What's the latest on Heart of Midlothian, ScotsJack? Noticed that they started their SPL Season over the weekend. Took 4k to Perth, apparently. Hibernian too, had 16k against Malmo. The support is there, no doubt, just seems a difficult time for domestic football in Scotland.

The Hibs situation is a lot brighter, their board started making cuts way back, and even though the fans didn't like it, and probably still don't, they will benefit in the end. Basically, Scottish football threw all its weight behind Setanta... When Setanta UK failed, Scottish football was f**ked. Celtic survived because they got their house in order back in the 90's and then Rangers died a sorry death... Celtic will manage, but the rest of the league relies on playing the Old Firm regularly, not just Celtic.
