andy carol, darren bent,etc. bought for massive money sold for less. any other business model would go bust.

We were taken for a ride by Jason Koumas and the other loan players a few seasons back. QPR were taken to the cleaners with mercenary players on high wages last season.
Trouble is you can't always spot a failure before they sign. Who is to say one of the players we sign this summer will turn out to be a huge waste of money?
Mind you I think the Jacks might have a few regrets by seasons end.
