Everything good Derby are doing is coming through Hughes, his engine, work rate, tackling, closing down and quality on the ball makes him stick out like a sore thumb. He's hardly wasted a pass so far, I would sell Whittingham and use the money to get Hughes, we're looking at a future England international here.

Well judging on the players Rodgers has currently brought in this window with Kolo Toure and the keeper from Sunderland with the LB on loan then they have made some decent signings.

Also Sturridge and Coutinho from the last window was both steals judging on recent showing.

A good player for the future. What we need now are some quality players with some Premiership experience.
