Yes the club is theirs but they have a few mountains to climb. They deserve to make it.

Very proud fans Ian, no matter what division they are in.
Yes a massive mountain to climb and I really hope they start to climb the Leagues, fans like that to me are the best

Superb support. Always liked them for that. I read that their 'superfan' actually owns a bookshop down that neck of the woods. Comes across a very sensible conservative bloke who then turns into a complete loon on matchday. Always a good atmos with Pompeii so good luck to them.

Re: Pompey fans display

Sun Aug 04, 2013 9:53 am

....and the comment about the fans always ultimately being the ones to save things is spot on. Look at Barry Town United. A non-football cretin 'owner' drives them out of the league and the FAW fuckwits do nothing to help. Still the fans drive that old club forward and they're doing a great job. BTU gave a very good account of themselves v City Dev last week and for the FAW not to have intervened and helped a club of that standard is inexcusable.

that's the fans who would rather swap their colours, crest and traditions with us to be in the Premier League (according to Magners)... :laughing6:

Well done to Pompey and their fans...

They won't be there week in week out, they had the decency to say that Oxford United classed this game as their cup final despite the Oxford fans helping the Portsmouth Trust by selling their allocation! Hopefully a third cconsecutive relegation is on the horizon but I'm being too greedy

Ripped off their creditors just like Swansea.

Double standards shoen by some in here.

Sorry, horrible scummy fans that I have difficulty sympathising with for personal reasons

Re: Pompey fans display

Sun Aug 04, 2013 2:25 pm

Can't believe so many City fans wank them off incredibly, like Polo said, they done exactly what Swansea done.

A bit of trouble in the 10/11 season if I'm not mistaken as well? Scummy fans with a scummy attitude, where the scummers belong

The club screwed the tax man for £40 million quid, that's a lot of nurses or coppers, but they are still blue so heroes one and all .Laughed like f**k at us when they won the cup, and if they go up through the leagues again I will puke. We have red now, I don't like it, but given the choice of that or screwing the country for 10's of millions and putting businesses out on their arse, I'd go red every time.

Spot on. Any club that goes into admin should be expelled from the leagues - a new club with a new name and start in the lowest league and start again.

Voluntary admin is being used by clubs to screw creditors rather than pay them off.

Exactly! Whilst we were getting fucked by Scam Hammam and close to extinction they were laughing at us, mocking at us etc. I hope they stay there for ages, they think they'll run away with the league but with too many signings they're going to have no team chemistry. f**k off Pompey, Pompey f**k off :thumbright:

100% This, won an FA Cup on non-existent money at our expense. Cardiff get dragged through the media for unpaid tax bills (that eventually got paid) yet everyone treats pompey like some innocent child that was getting abuse. If Cardiff had gone into admin twice the media wouldn't have either: A) Not cared or B)Laughed their way through it.

The FA do deserve some blame though, they should have ensured that following the first administration they were in safe hands to continue.

I don't know who that is aimed at, but I've said before that those who have a pop at swansea for the admins, need to think before they laud pompey as the moral bastions of football clubs.

1st day of the season, 2000 which were Oxford fans. The support will fade away

I'd love for us to do this in the Canton Stand, not as a protest or anything just as a show of support, the tribute for Gary Speed at the memorial game was really impressive. Maybe something like a blue background with CCFC in white and yellow.
