People saying today was a great result!!

People are saying we beat a mid table serie A club comfortably today, therefore we should survive easily. Those people are probably the same people who said a few days ago after losing to brentford, it's only pre season!! We can't have it both ways, we beat a seria A club and lost to a lower club in brentford. It's all pre season and doesnt matter about the result and yes today is a great result, but lets not get ahead of ourselves, because its a bit cringeworthy when the same fans say when we lose it doesn't matter but when we win its all brilliant. We can't have it both ways, reminds me of the jacks when they got to carling cup final and according to them it's a Mickey Mouse cup, but when they got there. It's the best thing since sliced bread! a

Excellent performance today, especially in the second half. No matter what side Malky puts out they're always difficult to beat, but I'll say the same thing to the overreaction after losing to Brentford is the same thing I'll say after beating an Italian top flight club - they're only friendlies and used for match fitness. Nothing more

Exactly the way I feel, some people are getting carried away with a win, a win is good, but it doesn't really matter win lose or draw. Fitness is the key!

This it's only an opportunity to gain match fitness and game time for palters to get to know each other.

I would say that they get slightly more important the closer you get to the start of the season, as it will help confidence, and give an indication that players are getting to know each other and are getting fitter, and systems are working.

We will have a full fit team out, so it won happen.

Hate to rain on anyone's parade but results mean f**k all in pre season. We shouldn't assume to be beating anyone.
All we should be concentrating on us getting match fit and tactically ready for the oncoming campaign...

Start worrying about results from aug 17th onwards..

The best result from all the friendlies is that no one picked up a serious injury.

Its good to hear are fans think the players cross the line in pre season games with the who cares what the score is attitude as long as we run about and get fit. crackers.
