Just checking out various league tables from last year, and saw that Cheivo finished 12 in the serie A, on 45 points, and Ath Bilbao finished 12th on 44 points. Although these leagues are different in size and strength do you think it reflects perhaps a higher/mid table 11,12,13th place finished is expected by MM and co, or just coincidental with avoiding relegation the only target?

All I know is that for a mid table serie A side we were quite comfortable today. I know its only pre season but with another one or two quality signings I don't see us as relegation fodder.

Be more than happy to get 12th as will everyone else.in the longer term with tans financial backing and malkys astute management i see us as becoming an established prem team and challenging the big boys at the top in a few years.we have the potential support to average at the least 35k plus crowds and the club already have plans in place to increase our capacity.
