Chopra

Malky could have taken a chance with Chops as additional cover.

If anyone could sort him out it would be Malky. In my opinion Chop's biggest problem was his weight gain.

Natural goal scorer!

You may as well wish for George Best.

Looks like he may off to Blackpool if he is not there already. Reported in the last week.

Nah, let him go. In fact, let all these past players go.

Chops served us well but he'd normally stop scoring after September, after which we'd be relying on Roger Johnson goals from corners etc!

You always get people wishing for the return of ex players, we are Premier league now, don't let your heart rule your head.

However we'll never EVER forget these scenes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_-MeOM ... ata_player

I was a big Chops fan but we are way beyond his level now.

Weve risen a level and he is on the decline.

He was a great player (especially his first term here) and his winner against Swansea was one of those moments which makes you a football fan. He was also (along with Ledley) the only players to come out of the PO Final vs. Blackpool with any credit, he basically ran himself into the ground that day.

But his well documented off the field problems held him back. We all know about the local Geordie gangsters who turned up at training grounds demanding money and apparently he owed VT personally for digging him out of that shit at one point, hence his transfer.

I really hope he can pull himself together and make the grade at the fore mentioned Blackpool, but no way his he Premiership standard ATM.

Sadly, beyond saving, you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear. What a waste. :old:

His time has passed. He will be useless at Blackpool just as he'd be useless if he was still here.

He's 29!

Natural goalscorer in the Championship. He's wasted now and near the tail end of his career.

No thank you. We have moved on vastly
