Basically end of the road. With administration there is a chance of surviving, well a good chance. Liquidation is the selling of assets and closing the company down.

Sky sports news say it is a 15 to 25 points deduction,but the actual football club will continue.

To update some of the more sensible comments,Liquidation is far worse and they are literally on the point of no return.Pundits reckon they can expect a minimum of 15pts deduction this season.They are also reporing that they had sold just over 200 season tickets for this campain.

Makes you realise how pathetic our complaints are. Gutted for the local fans that go to games. Would you rather be in their position and still be blue?. I'm not so sure.

They will reemerge as a phoenix club and basically have to start again. Very sad to hear and to think some would rather this route than what we currently have all because of a colour. Good luck to Coventry when they get going again and gutted for their fans.

Not desperate, people say we're a laughing stock but Coventry are on their way to League 2 when they ain't even based in Coventry. We are Cardiff City in the Premier League in Cardiff.

I was here (a Cardiff City fan) long before you were born sonny so don't intend going anywhere I'm Cardiff City to the core. We were perilously close to the situation Coventry are in now, its no laughing matter a football club is often the heart of a community I feel so so sorry for Coventry fans. at best its a points deduction, a fire sale of all players, all assets in the hands of an appointed receiver i.e club has a zero worth value. So almost certainly a drop down to the 2nd division with every chance of going out of the Football League altogether. At worst Coventry City will cease to exist. Time will tell but sad days for our fellow football fans in Coventry, I feel for them

Yes we could have easily been in their situation ( liquidation).
We need to be grateful for what we got.
