Now that Ninian Park itself is no more, doesn't it stand to reason to rename Ninian Park Railway Station as Cardiff City Stadium Station?
While we're at it, how about laying a pavement through the Jubilee Recreation Ground from the corner of Sloper Road and Leckwith Road - connecting the station directly to the stadium with the park?

Here's what I'm thinking :
In a few years hopefully Cardiff City start playing in Europe (Swansea already are). When foreign fans arrive we want to blow them away by the excellence of our club and city.
Talks are already underway to have a direct train service from Cardiff Airport Terminal Building to Cardiff Central Station. On big match occasions trains coming from Cardiff Airport could stop at the existing Ninian Park Station en-route to Cardiff Central, allowing visiting fans off there so they can walk from the station to the stadium via the park.
There is a station about half a mile from Anfield and there has been talk of Liverpool forking out to have that opened up that for fans.
