Surely doesn't tick the Malky boxes with regard to age and the attitude thing.I know its all over the media but this signing would surprise me more than Caulker.

Could it be the fact that he's big and able to upset defences, which will help cambell. Maynard?
Don't forget need variety to change games, must be something there for malky to be interested if he is.

Good point. But malkay is just the bloke to sort it and we could do with a bit of pizzazz!

At first I thought exactly the same. But then when I looked at it again, I actually realised that he would be the perfect signing. We need a striker and wide men, he can fill both positions. We need experience, he's got that. We don't lack quality up front, but we do lack a proven prem scorer, he is that. We've spent a lot, he'd be cheap.
All in all, I still think that this could be a smoke screen, but if it isn't, I'll be pretty damn happy with this signing.

I'm not too sure but did he have this attitude issue before the QPR transfer saga? As far as I know I think that he was totally mislead by his agent and Redknapp, there was no return to favour with WBA after that. I actually think he would be ideal acquisition whixh would give us 4 decent strikers and he has proven he can score against the best in the premier league, he can be a right handful at times.
At a cut price I think he is worth the gamble.

Him and Fortune destroyed us in the FA Cup at West Brom.

Although the first goal by Odemwingie was about a mile offside

Craig Bellamy was an older player and had plenty of known attitude problems, so why do some of us struggle at the idea of Odemwingie joining this squad?

Fair point but Bellamy has an attachment to the club and his misdemeanors are not that of a mercenary.I suppose we'll all know soon enough.

Leave your egos at the door -
I doubt Malky is interested but it does him no harm to have people thinking he is

He is a very good player though. Most players are drama queens, his moment of madness was played out on the most high profile of stages. Deadline Day. Unfortunate for him, but i bet he isn't the first player to try and engineer himself a move.

Some players are wrongly advised and agents leave them in a bad decision. He thought the QPR deal was almost done, it wasn't.
I'd give him a chance to be honest, 1.5m isn't bad

1.5 would be a great price. I've read that WBA want nearer to 3 Mill. Still not bad. Go get him Malky.
