Caulker is a great player but is still developing

Looked for some player ratings and this is the first thing that popped up.As good as Caulker is he may have the odd off game. I suppose that is to be expected from any player but the price tag should reflect few lack lustre performances! Im sure experiences like this will only have served to put the lad in good stead for the future, and its great that a big part of that future is with us!

A solid display at the heart of England’s defence against a talented Italian outfit was undone by an uncharacteristically poor performance in their second group clash. The Spurs star was laboured, and got caught ball-watching on his heels for Norway's second goal - and it was an error that led to Caulker looking edgy from that moment on. For a player of his Premier League pedigree and experience, this was a below par European Championship campaign.
