I say bigger this time , as this could really be the Making of Cardiff City should we take full advantage of this opportunity to consolidate our self in the top level of world football.
I say world football because it is well known that the british premiership is the tops of world football, if not why is it that most top footballers want so much to play here.
We all ask & want to know ,how big our club is! or can be. Well as a follower & supporter of the Bluebirds for well over 50 years, and been witness to more games than I can remember ,good & bad.
I can remember when you couldn't even raise your hand to drink a cup of tea in the Grange end ( that is if you were lucky enough to get into the que to get one ) because you were so near the person next to you.
Most of the time the guy standing next to you would say to you , Ok go on Mate , which would mean he would lean to the right or to the left, so you could rise your hand to take a drink.
I believe within 5 years of staying around Mid table , we will be pulling in 45,000 + easy.
Our catchment area is vast, it goes up and over the Seven bridge & my cousin who lives in Llanwrst in North Wales tells me ,there are small private buses that come down for most games now, So I have no reason to think that would stop ,in fact I could only see it grow.
Its hard Im sure for some of you to believe that Cardiff could be as big or bigger than say Everton or Spurs ,but I believe that within 5/6 years Mid table and playing good football this Bluebird will be seen flying high over them white cliffs Of Dover & well on there way to Asia . God Bless Our Bluebirds![]()

I do understand that most of the kids wear them as there Parents has inflicted this upon them. But I look forward now to kids seeing there home town playing and I hope to beat them now and again, there by slowly winning these kids over .
All the kids now growing up, in or around Cardiff , are our future, and of course the future of our Club.

With huge investment from china and the potential fan base we got it could be possible you never know, tottenhams ground holds about 40,000 capacity and that's what we are looking at in the future so with this and potential investment from china in the future or even with Vincent tan alone putting the money in to be as big as spurs is definitely possible imo.
BUT LIKE I SAID ONLY IN RED, IF WE TURNED BACK BLUE THEN WE GOT NO CHANCE

What if an investor fancies a flutter with a nice pink camp number with a strap-on as our badge?

No. But your being stupid now to he honest, are you part of BU? Is this the chumps that support them? I gave a perfectly genuine explanation on the spurs thing and your reply was about strap ons and a pink kit. Pathetic.

cakey mate, he should be banned. Straight on here with the blue wagon at people having a go. People have a right to be red or blue or even want both. This guy accused me of another poster and abusing people, Sian in particular when I actually respect her and the likes of Jon candy, just not some of the racist scum who've tagged along.
How is this poster allowed to get away with this for so long?

Spurs were looking at a bigger ground because 40 thou. isn't enough, and they got a massive waiting list for season tkts.

BlueGog wrote:How Big Do We Want to Be? That's the big question in my eyes. The potential is enormous as you state and I believe that most fans realise this. You get some dinosaurs on here wishing for cold nights in Hartlepool in Blue! If that's what you like then Newport is an option!!? But seriously, although it was, and still is criticised Tan has a vision not just for selling the club in the far east but in our own country Wales. Cardiff City in 2013 doesn't just belong to our capital city but to all of Wales. Sam saw the same potential-red is our national colour and a dragon for a badge! Quite simple but brilliant. Any Welshman will find it difficult to support Liverpool or ManU against us next year if they're honest. The colour and badge just adds to the psychology!
But to back to you original question, look at Spanish football for an idea. Barcelona is the obvious one where they represent Catalonia, but also look for the Basque teams Sociedad or Athletico Bilbao. The support in for the team and their region or country against the Spanish. The same in true for the Galician clubs Celta Vigo and Deportivo. Every game these teams play against the Spanish or Castillian teams is an international as well as a club game. If we follow these exaples and think of Cardiff as representing Wales (that's the bit north of Merthyr!) as well as the city we could be huge.
Interest is growing all the time in the north and where as a few years ago you fel very lonely as Cardiff supporter there are now, mini-busses and full cars travelling home and away.
Let's carry the Dragon to the Premiership the English don't like the idea of us being there so let's give their teams an international every Saturday. For Cardiff and Wales!
