Capacity increase at Cardiff City stadium

There are over 500 new seats already fitted all around our stadium, that will increase to over 800 in time for the Spurs game when the final seats will be placed in the corner between the Grandstand and Canton stand...if you look at the stadium you will hardly notice where these seats are but they are there.


Tottenham home should be a record attendance at our stadium with the additional added seats we should see a crowd of 27,400 dependant on segregation lines..

News on the extension was that the architects are working on the plans and also looking to add extra seating to the original plans and by the start of 2014-15 season the club believe the capacity will be 33,000 approximately.

Should be our largest crowd for a first home game of the season since the 13 August 1969, when 27,932 flocked to Ninian Park, to watch us play Swindon Town (2-2, King 2).
