Anyone had their computer locked

My laptop has been locked by pceu they want me to pay £100
Anyone know of this

you will have to reboot it from scratch. i had one saying it was from south Yorkshire police and they wanted me to pay a fine by buying a 100 pound voucher scamming cunts. What idid is go into safe mode so you can move around your screen then go into files and delete stuff that's irregular like files named stuff like dk7gha and adsfdgh and then restart the computer. it worked for me, there is a help on Google for it too

Try system restore and go back to a date before this shit appeared on your computer,that should get rid of it.

I can't get anything up on screen

It's a scam, the met wanted £100 off me, froze computer, i'm so gullible I believed it, lucky my mate knows computers and sorted it.

Scam mate - I sorted my nans out before can't remember how though.

System restore

boot into safe mode and remove any crap you have installed in the last few days and try to run something like crap cleaner. or get the instructions and remove it fro the registry manually.

Baz, I've just had to sort out my fathers laptop as well. Come home from uni and got me fixing his virus ruined PC.

If I wasn't going back to Aber soon myself I'd have driven up and sorted it for you. Its not that big a problem really.

When you've got it sorted download the below;

Spybot Search & Destroy
AVG Free Anti Virus
Malwarebytes

Then for your browser make sure you have an AdBlock extension to stop adverts as they can often hijack your PC through cookies etc.

If you're downloading torrents - movies and so on then make sure you run a virus check on files you downloaded before opening or running them - these are often loaded with trojans or rootkits that can infect your system32 files.

If you watch streams of football where there are often pop ups - install this media player to watch free games - avoid these like the plague as they are spyware and malware infected pieces of shit.

I fixed my daughters pc with the same problem about 2 years ago.

I think you need to go into the registry to the key Runonce and remove a line.....I think.

Got done last Friday morning on my desktop PC. (logging on to this fxxking forum)
Mine was from Cheshire police £100 for paypoint etc, etc BASTARDS

Gave my PC to my son-in-law on Monday (well into computers) who fixed it for me after a full clean and reinstall
Collecting tomorrow night

It's probably something to do with David Camerons porn clamp down. Or maybe you were file-sharing with your political neighbour

Malwarebytes sorted it when my Son had a similar virus on his laptop.
