Kadeem Harris!!

Wed Jul 31, 2013 6:22 pm

This boy is smashing it for the DVP why don't we try him now in pre season he is young skilful and fooking lightening down the wings he scored 4 in 2 games and following him on twitter he has bulked up loads so clearly putting in the graft!!

What's your thoughts??

Don't know much about him but I remember when he first came here, Malky was very excited about him being here :ayatollah: :malky:

Could be a surprise package for us next season you never know.

Still only 20 so hopefully he can keep up his form.

He has been unlucky with a few injuries but he has been fine for a while now so hopefully he can make an impact.

A loan move to a Championship side like Doncaster will do him well

I disagree mate I think a run out against good pre season opposition then try him in the prem if successful I know he is young and unproven BUT so was Raheem Sterling but that kid was incredible and Mcmanaman for Wigan young kid came from nowhere but whooped the Man City defence at Wembley

I don't want to play safe and lose would rather take a chance on a few an see what happens at least we can say we tried something different! IMO (which I know counts for nothing but what the hay!)

Set up the opener in the DVP game tonight

I think a loan to a top championship team could make this player into a top player who could return to our first team next season. Very impressed with his pre season

I think Cult of Personality is right, throwing in him at the deep end could ruin the progression he looks to be showing and set him back with his development. He needs to be managed correctly and a loan move until January would be a good move IMO. See how he does and if he impresses keep him with us for the remainder of the season

Totally agree bangbang.he has pace and trickery and even made(dare i say it!)the daily mail list of 20 premiership youth prospects.give him a whirl and you never know!has certainly beefed up.

How can it ruin his progression ffs?

All players at a young age are breaking in and benefit.

Look at Luke Shaw, Sterling, Jordan Ibe has been introduced to the Premier League and has showed he can cope.

Could be our Raheem Sterling!

Being thrown in while not ready, fans get on his back, he loses confidence, takes a while to get it back. He has featured in league 2 and that's it, a few goals in DVP matches in pre season doesn't mean he's ready. I'm sure if he is Malky will play him

And just set up Maynard for a goal with DVP Malky work ur magic put him in while no one cares bout the results (well we do a bit but not enough to av a pop at you hahaha)

It will make him OR prove he ain't quite ready then we loan him out get experience and bring him back with a Bang I believe it's the youngsters who aren't expected to impress that do better than the "expected stars"

I also think Ben Nugent may force himself into the team sometime in the season, Could have the same effect as Ben Davies for Swansea. :malky:

Played ok at port talbot tonight but not quite ready just yet in my opinion. Interesting to see briad flnn there tonight. i know he's a local but season starts for them saturday so dont think he was there for no reason. Any one of the starting x1 could be interesting him be it loan or permanent. also talked to terry phillips tonight he recons malky has said two or three more in next week if things go to plan. :ayatollah:

Kadeem Harris
Age: 20 Position: Midfielder Twitter: @kadeemHarris27
With bundles of pace and tricks, Harris is an exciting talent who can play on the wing or inside. He has only played one senior game for Cardiff so far but is considered a hot prospect. He was Wycombe's youngest ever player when he made his debut aged 16 and 201 days and went on to be named League Two apprentice of the year in 2010.

Been on fire so far this pre-season, hopefully with a full pre-season under his belt we'll start to see the potential he has. I think a loan move to a Championship or League One side would be good for him so he can go and gain first team experience, I'm looking forward to seeing how he progresses. :ayatollah:

Completely disagree with this mate.
No where near good enough last year for the Championship. V poor in most games & couldn't keep possession at all. May well have good potential in the future though.
