The Record signing from Spurs will join his new team mates in training tomorrow and I expect him to be starting in the clubs next outing.
He has been touted as a future England star at the back and I will put my hand on my heart and say "He could be the next Club Captain". To be fair though I am amazed Cardiff have landed him.I put him well ahead of other Defenders such as Smalling but that's just me.
It's well reported Spurs are trying their best to Stall Bales departure whilst they have also been stalling on securing Roberto Soldaldo from Valencia. Many feel this deal frees up the funds for it, But it has surprised and shocked many a Spurs Fan.
And what Cardiff have gained Spurs and many other Prem clubs have lost out.
Personally I am stunned the club has let him go whilst the likes of Gallas and Adebayor still take a fair whack off the weekly wage budget. They have a lot of rotting wood at the club and for them to remain whilst the better youngsters walk suggests all is not well at White Heart Lane.
