Two seasons ago he was struggling at spurs, what a turnaround.
He's pure class,it'll be a good move for him.

Chuffed for him but i think he's 70 percent of the player that we've seen in the last 24 months of blinding form. Hope i'm wrong.

He's now told avb he wants to go.
I think it'll happen, the money on offer is to good to turn down.

How on earth didn't Cardiff spot his talent at that age. Cant be doing all this coming home to play for the home town club when he is in his 30s! Just think cardiff missed out on Bellars, (Ledley)(Darcey) where are the scouts in cardiff juniors league?? my nephew is lucky to have been spotted by city at 8 years old. Hes still there at 15! If he can become half the player Bale is, Cardiff has a bright future! Sure there are loads of Gareth Bales in Cardiff and Valleys. Just a matter of finding them!!

I'm sure they new about him but back then he was a left back and a tiny one at that, Southampton nearly released him
With concerns about his height. How he shot up so quick I don't know because he was never that tall all the way through school, fair play to him though totally committed and while we all got pissed down the park at 14/15 he went over velindre hospital with a football and just kicked about on his own

He needs to learn the language asap and ensure he doesn't use Ronaldo's hair gel

Good luck to him! Hope he succeeds... Was lucky enough to be at the Wales vs Scotland game when he won the match single handedly for us

and now the media call him British not a 'Welshman' like they did before he was in the limelight
