You think 9m is a lot for a future England centre back? Caulker has Premiership experience, is powerful, pacey, comfortable on the ball, good athlete, reads the game well, he barely has a weakness! 9m is a bargain if true!

9 mil for caulker is a good deal. He's english and english players go for more than average player. he's young and a promising cetnre back.

Seems a lot but if he impresses well, we could easily get 16-18m in this market off one of the big 6, i.e Cahill to Chelsea

When you think how much the jacks want for ashley williams then I see it as a great deal

I don't think he is as good as people make out but still young and raw and Malky being an ex defender will teach him loads. Great signing and great potential.

I wouldn't take any over the other players we have signed or have already in the squad. Malky's going about this transfer window perfectly, aim high and you will get a some quality players, not every player will come, but if you aim high enough and for a lot of high quality players some are bound to take the chance!

With this signing, a left back/CDM and a winger, I'd expect 12-14

not really a ex swansea player, he was only on loan.

people seem to forget legg and bowen who played for swansea before coming to cardiff.
