CLOSING THE DEAL!!

Wed Jul 31, 2013 9:34 am

It has been the Thorne in our side so far in this window.

I have said I feel it's because we are the club with no experience in the league...

What do you feel is the reason?

We closed plenty of deals last year

Answer is simple - its not closing deals its players not wanting to join a newly promoted Prem club but waiting to see if more satble club comes in

Re: CLOSING THE DEAL!!

its pretty obvious.

Malky has gone for targets too big for the club. They then use us to prompt other bids from clubs rumoured to be chasing them, the deal was never on the cards in reality so unfair to say closing them has been the issue. its the football works. I just hope Malky goes for realistic targets sooner rather than later instead of pandering to the big names and helping them get the moves they want.

We need to sign players from the SPL and stop pretending Malky has influence elsewhere.

Malky is targeting big name players who are being linked with big clubs, we are not a.big.club we are.not a settled prem club most players wont come to is over big or established top flight teams

You claim your not a jack... Yet you do yourself no favours in proving your doubters wrong with comments like that.

I couldn't give a damn what anyone thinks I am. im stating the obvious.

we haven't kicked a ball in the top flight for half a century and have spent most of our existence in the bottom two tiers. get real.

So he's a Jack for being honest? You couldn't make it up. If you split the PL up into quarters in terms of size we would be in the bottom quarter along with Swansea.

the amount of whoppers this club has picked up since Sam got his claws in is unbelievable. some listen to the propaganda and genuinely think we are a superpower. anyone to actually say how it is must be a jack.

ridiculous.

While your first statement is correct, your second is completely wrong - we've spent almost twice as much time in the top two divisions as we have in the bottom two.

meh, same difference. we have been in the bottom tiers longer than the top tiers in my supporting life which is from 1982 and over 3 decades.

we are a small fish in the pond that is the premier league, anyone stating otherwise is delusional.

CCFC PAUL is our resident jack fantasist  . This is our first season in the premier league. Caulker is signing on a permanent deal this week which is a statement of intent in the first year. Swansea tried desperately to land him but didn't have the money so had to opt for the cheaper option in Chico

Once we secure Capoue, Caulker and possibly Atsu then our first time business in the big league wipes the floor with Brenda after they won the play offs. The core of the squad is already in place.

CCFC PAUL. You never saw Caulker coming to Cardiff did you. Gutted LOL

ironic you use the insult of fantasist and then continue fantasising more than Barnett in a brothel for the rest of your post.

Hope I'm wrong but I don't see it happening unless it is exceptionally favourable for Spurs. :old:

Oh, so that's how it works is it? Given all of the Wembley appearances and promotion challenges that my young nephew has seen since his first match in 2000, he can say that we are bigger and better than the likes of both Sheffield clubs, Leeds, Wolves, Leicester, Derby, Ipswich, Forest etc, etc, so what are you moaning about?
