It's a friendly. He had Liverpool on lock down in the league cup. He was amazing last season as well. He hasn't long got back from injury either. Chill out.

We must be serious here -

many players who we support are not quite up to it.
They are good workers and great spirit but don't quite cut the mustard for the prem.

Malky assembled a team to get us there, now we need a team to keep us there.

imo - our whole defence got lucky last season, with marshall and poor finishing accuracy turning defeats into draws and wins.
we regularly got turned and got lost on crosses and many times were lashing balls away - in what was a very ordinary division.
A good tackle here and there does not constitute a great consistent player.

Anyone who dares to point out that we may be short in a few places is either a glass half full, doom or gloom etc - which is shit.

I respect and admire every player that puts on a jersey for us, but i'm fucked if im going to use that as a judgement that the player is therefore great quality.

MM is working his nuts off to bring in quality players - he knows it, so why are we all arguing based upon our tinted views on our existing players?

loads of subs as well.that means the defending in front of him ,closing down,shape etc would be of a poorer standard
