He said as above except, when asked about Barton he said, " nothing in it! "
Before that he implied that he's satisfied with pre season to date but needed to step it up now and add 2 or 3 players.
His term, "we have a few plates spinning"
All in a strong Scottish accent ofcourse

Reporter: On a scale of 0.1 to 1 how shit was that performance?
Malky: 0.
Reporter: Is there any substance in the rumours that you're close to signing Caulker?
Malky: Is he Scottish?
Reporter: No, he's not Scottish.
Malky: Well there's just simply no chance we're signing him then. We've looked around Europe and we've decided Scotland has the best talent on offer so we're looking to bring in 3 or 4 more Don Cowie's and Craig Conway's before the start of the season.
Reporter: Why didn't you sign Wanyama?
Malky: Well we got all the way up to Glasgow and then found he was in fact black and not even Scottish.
Reporter: What happened with the Ince deal?
Malky: We got to the final negotiations but he found out that his mrs was pregnant. Im surprised he didn't mention it earlier so im kind of expecting a paternity test done on Jeremy Kyle in the next few months. I've put £5 on it being Sterlings at 5/1. Good odds considering the baby making machine he is.
Reporter: Thanks for speaking to us. Malky Mackay, manager of Cardiff City.
Malky: Thanks, Goodbye, im off to watch Braveheart with Don.

Malky Mackay is still looking to add "two or three" players to his Cardiff squad ahead of the new season.
The City manager watched his side go down 3-2 to a late Brentford winner in their latest pre-season game at Griffin Park.
Mackay has so far brought in striker Andreas Cornelius and goalkeeper Simon Moore, and afterwards he told Sky Sports News the search for new recruits is ongoing.
He said: "The group we have are at the fitness level we expect them to be at, so that's important. but at the same time I still need to add two or three players.
"We've got various plates spinning. We're working hard on it but they've got to come in and add to this group.
"We're looking at good players to come in and we're trying to improve in all areas."
Mackay stonewalled when asked whether his list of targets includes Celtic's Joe Ledley, Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback or Tottenham's England defender Steven Caulker.
But he did say Joey Barton's presence at Griffin Park was no more than a coincidence.
"I think he lives round here," Mackay said.

That means Barton has signed then.
