Would it be possible to set up another section of the website where only football related subjects can be discussed?

Personally i'm fed up of wading through general nothingness and posts about people on their holidays.

I'm quite surprised this hasn't been done already to be honest as it would make sense......

Could it also be a small corner where topics aren't allowed to be spoiled by jack wind up merchants and rebrand politics?

We've asked for this time and time again. Splitting the forum up is a great idea.

And you can add any rehash of the "did Sam lie or just misremember" threads - they are a right pain at the mo.

I suppose it's a little less tiresome than the red/blue face off.

Looking forward to some chat on actual football, not all this he said/she said we're having.

The game against Cheltenham on saturday barely registered and as I was not at the game myself I barely got any information except how many blue scarves and flares there were.

I can't wait for the season to start!

While I agree with a different rebrand location, I do like the fact that non-football topics are here on the main section.

On other forums when there is a split of the general threads it leads to most of them being ignored.

I don't mind the whole general chat thing, but I don't want Cardiff City fans opinions on anything else except football really.

General Chat is a lovely thing but like I said in the OP - people's holiday stories and whatnot aren't that interesting.

The guy actually posted a topic asking for a football related section, which I believe is very football related!

Sadly it won't happen, because too many people on here want to bleat on about the rebrand and won't like it if their repetitively boring posts won't get read!

Not really, it's about the off pitch affairs of the club which is only reflected by the strip on pitch, not the football being played by those wearing it.

I suggest we contact the high command of the alien ant nation and ask them to ensure simple daffodils are planted on hill tops before the ensuing Alien Ant invasion commences.

At least then we will have some perspective of the giant geraniums hanging off the broken window.

It is related to the football team we support but isn't really directly related to the football side of things.

Any time the rebrand is mentioned the original topic is lost and the same old circular patterns appear again.

I've seen one post about our potential tactics this season and it has no replies! Someone posts a video of some guy on a roller coaster and its as if everybody is fascinated by the concept of a theme park.

Can anyone do anything about this or am I pissing in the wind so to speak?
