I said at present. Taylor is suspended so unless Malky plays Ralls, Lappin will start. Smith is bound to start in place of Noone in a compact ground where work rate is king and experience is necessary. In the expected absence of Gunner you must have a runner and ball winner to support Witts so Cowie will play if no other signings take place . I am fed up of people slagging off Cowie who gives everything for the cause. We are not a big tim Charlie. Don't lose your prospective. A whole hearted player whom in years gone by would be lauded by the Ninian Park faithful not recent plastics. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

We are in trouble if we have to start cowie.. Was a weakness when he started last season, let alone this season.

yes. only one on the pitch so a potential to change formation, plus mason can easily be played out wide.

I suppose you could put Noone on the bench instead of mason, i wouldnt personally though.

I can't stand watching mason out wide it is just a waste of a wing position. He always comes in as a 2nd striker but with 2 on the bench and 1 starting you do not need mason there unfortunately for the lad. Noone would defo be 1st choice winger on the bench if he didnt start, he brings something different and sometimes a moment of magic with his quick feet and being able to cut inside.
