Cant see Sunderland going down to be honest. Hope so though one less space for us to potentially fill.

don't see arsenal getting 4th place they haven't even signed anyone yet would replace them with spurs

I would accept that to be honest. On a neutral point though I can't see City finishing above Utd

Cant see fulham finishing above Norwich who will have a good season imo. Lot of unkowns this year with so many big clubs changing managers. Sunderland and stoke could go either way. Feel reluctant to write of hull and palace just yet but wasnt impressed with either last year. Interesting times.

But look at the last two champions from the championship and they both finished behind the play off and second place sides. The pl is ruthless and looking at the money sides like Norwich west ham and we have spent this year is going to be as hard as any for a newly promoted side.

I think most people think Palace and Hull will go down is because they don't have a great deal of quality in their sides.

If we finish 16th i will be amazed

I was watching the premier league years from last season on SS1 over the weekend and it brought me back down to earth about expectations. Even the likes of reading wigan and QPR who were relegated last year looked really good in some of their games. If we manage to avoid relegation this season thats a massive achievement.

Think we will survive but Swansea 7th?

How can anyone predict the final positions in July? The squads will be a lot different come the end of the window.
Best advice is to ignore such stuff.

7th for the JB's sounds about right to me, with us fighting for survival.

3 or for decent signings and a couple of good scalps and opinions could change! A-lllllootttt!

Yeah agree, it will be extremely competitive but I don't think it's has strong in recent years.
I think city will finish about 15th

I really don't see Sunderland going down, we have a better chance than Hull and Palace to stay up though

Whilst I hope and believe we stay up, I have a feeling that a few on this MB are in for a rude awakening. The Prem is an unforgiving place - especially for teams like us who have just won The Championship at a canter and believe too much of our own good press.

At the moment, I'd settle for staying up on goal difference after the last game

I think you will have just enough to stay up, fancy 2 of the 3 promoted teams to go down along with Sunderland or Stoke and you should have enough to finish above Palace and Hull.

One thing you will be surprised at is the pace and movement of sides in this league, I was astounded by the tempo of games when we came up and it takes some getting used too.

Apologies for butting into the argument, but I think the point is that whilst every game against teams outside the top 6 are 'winnable' - particularly at home - they are also more likely to be 'loseable' particularly for us being one of the new kids on the block.

Hopefully there'll be more unexpected wins than expected defeats to keep us in the league

Agree and as the new boys teams will be looking at us for an easy 6points. Every game we play next season the opposition will fancy there chances as a good 3 points.

However my point was the league isn't as strong as it once was, before I'd have looked at the top 10 and wondered how many points we could get in what would be real tough games. Now tho I think we have a fighting chance in all outside the top 6 and those above will be bonus points if we pick any up.
