The size of the register at Howells tells us a different story.

Slamming 6 million on Gayle was stupid and depending on the funds they have it will bite them in the back.

Holloway's signed Dobbie and Phillips wherever he's been it seems.
They've always been a yo-yo club anyway, right back to the 90s with players like Shipperley and Attillo Lombardo...

I think they've locked Darcy in a cupboard somewhere - he must have only played about 5 games since moving there...

Former Blackpool winger Elliot Grandin has apparently agreed to reunite with his former manager Ian Holloway at recently-promoted Crystal Palace.
The Eagles earned a spot in next year's Premier League via the Championship playoffs, and have already recruited striker Dwight Gayle and winger Jerome Thomas in an effort to improve their squad.
Holloway is keen to add more fresh faces to the Palace ranks and had targeted French playmaker Grandin, whom he worked with during Blackpool's top-flight campaign, is a player that he would like to bring in.
According to L'Equipe, Grandin has been released by the Tangerines this summer, and Palace have offered the 25-year-old a one-year contract to play at Selhurst Park.
Grandin scored one Premier League goal during his spell with the Seasiders.
