VTs speech last week

Sat Jul 27, 2013 8:19 pm

He made a speech in Pontypridd Uni according to my mate last night.
" If you want to be very rich like me, then don't take the route my son did and take drugs, he then named the drugs" :o :o

One thing he said that Tan came across as honest in his speech :ayatollah:

The way Tan talks sometimes I don't think his son is the only one in the family. You'd have to be on drugs to have that sort of fashion sense.

I formed an opinion early on about VT, and I was wrong and right. He can be whatever he needs to be to suit the occasion.

If it's business he's cold hard and ruthless, but possibly the man he wants to be is the one soaking up the love and adulation he had on the pitch after we beat Leicester i think.

has he made a mistake, yes no doubt about it, the decision to rebrand was pure business to try and get investment from the far east, but I bet that if he had the chance to make that decision again, it would be different.

But, and it is a massive BUT, the decision has been made, and we must help him and give him a way out to change it and still save face.

Pressure , protest and force I feel is not going to get him to change his mind, more likely to dig in and stand his ground.

Hand on heart, does anyone really believe that protest will get him to change back to blue, coz i for one feel it will achieve the exact opposite.

I am just sad that what should be the best of times is being missed by so many, you would think the amount of blue shirts over and above the amount of red ones was the major issue today, you would not even think a game had taken place if you read the message boards.

He also said " You (the University) had less trouble changing from blue to red than I did "

Agreed Gwyn and I feel BU will be divisive rather then decisive in getting us to return back to our original colour. They are just going about it the wrong way and I am afraid this forum is giving them a platform. It will backfire, let's hope it doesnt lead to Tan quitting :ayatollah:
