Smoke Bombs= Ticket restrictions, sniffer dogs, banning orders, jail, fines, criminal record.
Making our job even harder to get a fair deal! couldn't care less about them really myself but if you want to improve the atmosphere try singing songs to support the team works for other sides!

Last thing you want at all city games are 'sniffers' that'll open up a whole can of worms
Those hand held metal detectors will find them - smoke bombs are a bloody nuisance - especially the red ones

Smoke bombs - chavs - restrictions. Not rocket science is it?
Sat Jul 27, 2013 7:17 pm
Vince they are pathetic, never thought I would say this but I hope they get arrested and banned, because at the moment they are doing our football club no good at all.I have never seen so many drugged up individuals as I saw today, they were off their heads some of them, for gods sake it was a friendly.

Standard under 18 response - "But they look awesome"
These kids just can't see the bigger picture and how they're hurting everyone in the long run.

I'm not sure they realised that the old bill control room was just by them, and plod was watching them. Silly Billy's.

At Pre Season, very cringey.

Oh come on, it's football, i repeat, FOOTBALL its not fecking cricket.
Anyone seen a South American game? Or a game in Germany ? There's f*cking all sorts going on. Great atmosphere. They have a right knees up, good day out.
Some people will moan about anything, footballs a passionate game, always has been always will be. If the match day atmospheres to much for you stay home and watch it on the f*cking tele.

This is my idea of a football away day

Football is being more and more racist by the day.
Ninian Park - please refrain from using colourful language.
CCS - please refrain from using colourful smoke bombs.
It's time we fought for our freedoms.

You can buy them online for a £1each.

People don't understand the work that goes into trying to get a level playing field for city fans when playing away BUT people who have a go on this messsageboard about them and the "chavs"

That use them don't have a go for those reasons I have just stated some people just want something to Moan about either that or they just don't like fired up youth
Sun Jul 28, 2013 12:34 am
But really, what harm do they do and what risk do they pose to people's well-being?? It's what, a bit of colourful fun at worst? It's the sanitisation of sport by the authorities who want to impose their own pious doctrine onto us - we're football fans ffs, not dog-watchers at Crufts! Childish, maybe, but remember what us Oldies were getting up to a decade or two back!?!

Exactly cant even be passionate about your team with stewards around these days it's always see as being "out of control" or "over the top"

Couldn't agree more Vince - the tossers will get banned and then they will be on here complaining about the injustice of it all!

Why shouldn't they? What's wrong with smoke bombs?

They are enough to get the user a banning order - so if you like them so much - carry on. As a supporter for the past 46 years and never seen us in the top division, I have taken the view that I can forego the thrill of throwing a firework onto the pitch to watch the Bluebirds take on the best.

Say all you want it is illegal in football in Britain you can't do it without reprecosions.

what harm do they do? I struggle to breath when they go off and there is nothing wrong with my lungs so imagine what someone with any type of breathing disorder goes through?
anyway regardless of that for whatever reason this country has deemed them to be illegal is it really that hard to follow the law? if you want to break the law go for it but dont piss and moan about the consequences of it afterwards you made the decision to break the law if you get away with it fantastic if get caught youve only got yourself to blame and live with the consequences

Whatever your personal view on smoke bombs, two things are certain:
1. The 'guideline' entry point on sentence for the Court is prison.
2. A football banning order is almost certain, the length of which will depend upon the sentence.
Click on the link below for confirmation.
Whilst you can mitigate on both points, the above would be my initial advice to any client.
You would then employ a good lawyer to avoid prison. My fees are not cheap.......

You know the risks when you let one off. But I agree 100% with Jama on this

Not one Pole was arrested up at Wrexham last week and they had a full fireworks display
highly illegal. So typical of British coppers nowadays. A law is a law is a law, depending on
who does what where and when

they look great on tv but my 8 year old would not go again if he was in the blue smoke cloud. frightening for young ones. just fans taking a bit to far i guess, but dont kill yhem for it.

Hardly surprising that you have a load of problem teens when you look at what their fathers got upto 20 to 30 years ago. The little pricks have been brought up listening to their old mans tales of the city and reading the works of uncle annis.
