Hypothetically, if there was no blue kit...

Sat Jul 27, 2013 2:09 pm

Just curious as to people's different opinions if there was NO blue kit at all?

It seems weird that our away kits haven't been released yet. Even if they were not to go on sale, it would make sense for the club to at least show them to the fans.

I just wondered how fans' opinions would change should there be no blue kit at all? Would you still go to games? Would it take away feelings towards the premier league dream?

I don't mean for this to be a rebrand topic as such, it's purely hypothetical.

It's not weird our club has always been shite about trying to please fans.

Mostly he away kits haven't Ben released because ilovethecity is in two weeks and Tan wants that even to sell red shirts. If blue was on sale then it would be embarrassing for it to sell really well.

If there was no blue kit next season I would sigh that our fan base couldn't get it's act together to get some sort of compromise set in stone.

There is a blue kit, there's nothing unusual about the club not to releasing detials of the alternative/away/3rd shirts or whatever you want to call them until the season has started. It's the same every year, including pre-rebrand.

To answer your question, whilst disappointing, it wouldn't make a difference to me as the retention of a blue shirt is now purely a token gesture by the club. I chose to accept red last season in exchange for investment and the future security of my football club.
