JULIO CESAR

Laughing hysterically at this.

"Queens Park Rangers' Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar could be set for a Premier League stay in time for the new season as newly promoted side Cardiff City make a loan offer for the former Inter Milan goalie.

A move to Napoli fell through last week as the Italian giants decided to sign Liverpool's keeper Pepe Reina on loan instead; whilst earlier in the season Arsenal were also linked with a move for Cesar but Arsene Wenger decided at the last minute to keep the faith in his current Polish duo.

Cardiff City were known to be looking to sign a new goalkeeper but have so far struggled to find a suitable player, Cesar will be available for a season long loan for a nominal fee as the Welsh side will pay his entire salary for the duration of the spell.

Julio Cesar, who has played 74 times for his country, could also make a permanent move to Cardiff if he impresses sufficiently during his time at the Welsh side."

He'd be second to Marshy if he came :malky:

Ha ha ha. He's on crazy money, plus Marshy is a fantastic keeper who can hopefully now establish himself as Scotlands number 1. Scotlands current #1 McGregor has just moved to Hull so it will be between those 2 for the staring jersey.

As much as I love David Marshall, Julio Cesar would be a great signing and would walk into the first team.

Why do you think he would be second to Marshall?

He's won Serie A the Champions League and the World Cup.

He's also captained Brazil and Inter Milan.

He's one of the best shot stoppers in world football and is always vocal in organising the defence.

I don't understand what's so funny?

Julio Cesar is world class.

I know he's class, but he's not what he was a few years ago. I honestly think the two of them are on par these days.

You've got to be joking?

Cesar is one of the world's best 'keepers at the moment. Miles ahead of Marshall.

He's playing for a Championship side. Yes he's a great keeper, but not one of the worlds best any more. he's way past his best whereas Marshy is still young for a keeper. Even Rob Green got ahead of him at times last season.

Did you not watch the Confederations Cup? He was brilliant for Brazil.

Would he pass the Malky dossier? He went partying with David Luiz in a Chelsea shirt while playing for QPR and they are big rivals.
