Class Winger?

Sat Jul 27, 2013 9:14 am

Do you think malky is gonna have a class winger lined up for us soon? If we can get one of these along with the other mentioned targets we would be looking good come the new season?
Also do you think old tom ince would be looking at our team strengthening and having second thoughts? And do you think malky might have the offer still open to him if he changes his mind?

Malky will have a back up plan.
I think Ince will live to regret his big headed decision.
Do not want him here, and I do not think he is good enough anyway.

Don't think his decision was "big headed" he wanted to stay because he has family, the pull of cardiff as a team just wasn't big enough to make him move his family down here with a small child I would agree with his decision

Not big headed

Im shocked nobodies moved for Callum McManaman

Class player and would be a great signing but I think that Wigan are asking silly money and I am sure thats why none of the 'big clubs' have gone after him. I'm sure that I saw 20 million quoted.

7-9 million as an investment would not be too bad.

Agreed Malky will go for a winger, wasn't there talk of Valon Berisha from Red Bull?

I'm a big fan of Noone, but if he gets injured then we don't have a back up who has his trickery and the ability to cut inside from the right. So I'd be happy with a winger to play on the right who is left footed, also speedy and got some skills

Yes was told this some time ago from same source as gave me Andreus Cornelius. Berisha is some player would put Tom Ince in the shade, would be our very own little Messi, hope to god we do get him :ayatollah:

So you think this berisha is a better player than ince, his goal scoring record isn't the best that's the only fault I can see in him?

From what I've seen and read of him, he looks an excellent prospect, not sure what type of money Red Bull would be looking for, he hasn't been there long since moving from Norway and they paid a few million for him, so would think 5m plus? Did they give you an idea of cost aliens?

Same here but has he recovered from his injury?

Every time I watch Ireland play McGeady looks a class about anyone else, haven't really seen him for his club but I remember there being a story about him probably leaving Spartak this year. Would love him at City.

yes he's better than Ince, fantastic dribbler with both feet, great vision and a great crosser of a ball. Oh and he's got all the tricks too. Would be cheaper than Ince and he's not a big time Charlie :laughing6: which is a big plus :ayatollah:

How about a loan? Andros Townsend seemed to find himself last season at QPR. Could be worth a punt.

And agree about Callum McManamon but he is injured at the moment, has been for a while. Imagine that has put some off him atm, expect him to leave Wigan in January if they ain't topping the table.
