Better than we have

Mackay has gone on record,saying "the players we look to bring in,have to be better than what we have already"...... so lets look at the two signings we have made so far..remember this is just my own personal view........Cornelius,in time will be a very good signing for us,he seems to have all the attributes to make him a very effective Premiership striker ..... Brayford is by far the best full back we currently have on our books,so i want to go on the record to congratulate Mackay in making 2 quality signings,and i expect to see other such signings in the very near future

And that is EXACTLY what he needs to do - and continue doing.

We have pretty decent players in most positions. So far he has probably strengthened the 2 weakest spots form last year - target man and right back. However these 'decent' players may not be god enough for us to compete at this level and he needs to bring in better and the 'decent' players will be pushed down to cover or fringe players. He has a balancing act as the team's spirit was superb last season and we will need that this year on top of the extra talent. 3-4 more quality signing and things will look bright for the season.
